These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the B4 I Do website and services operated under the supervision of K.M. Ragolane Attorneys & Notaries. By accessing this website or using any services offered through B4 I Do, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
B4 I Do provides structured antenuptial contract services to couples within the Republic of South Africa. Services are rendered under attorney and notarial supervision and are subject to South African law. Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice unless a formal professional engagement has been established.
Antenuptial contracts must be concluded before the marriage takes place. Clients must complete an eligibility assessment before drafting or consultation services can proceed. Completion of an eligibility check does not constitute acceptance of instruction. B4 I Do reserves the right to decline instructions where the matter falls outside the scope of antenuptial contract services.
The Standard package does not include consultation.
Premium, Deluxe, and Platinum packages include consultation to assess client instructions, clarify the chosen matrimonial property regime, and ensure that the contract accurately reflects the parties’ intentions. Consultations must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during eligibility assessments, consultations, and drafting is accurate, complete, and truthful. B4 I Do relies on the information provided by clients. Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may affect the validity or enforceability of the antenuptial contract.
An antenuptial contract must be executed before the marriage ceremony. Failure to execute the contract prior to marriage will result in the marriage automatically being in community of property unless a court order is obtained after the marriage.
Both parties may sign the antenuptial contract before a Notary Public in the presence of two competent witnesses.
Where one or both parties cannot personally appear before a Notary Public, execution may take place by way of a Special Power of Attorney authorising an appointed agent to sign the contract on their behalf.
In such cases, B4 I Do will prepare the Special Power of Attorney together with the draft antenuptial contract, including a confirmatory certificate for authentication before a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths.
This ensures that the execution remains legally valid and compliant, even where the parties are not physically present.
Following execution, the antenuptial contract must be registered at the relevant Deeds Office in accordance with the Deeds Registries Act. Registration must occur within three (3) months of execution. Processing timelines at the Deeds Office are outside the control of B4 I Do and delays may occur due to administrative processes or institutional backlogs.
All fees are payable in full upfront prior to consultation, drafting, or execution services being rendered. Payment becomes due once the client has selected a service package and the eligibility assessment confirms that the matter qualifies for antenuptial contract drafting.
*No work will commence until payment has been received and cleared.
Important: B4 I Do will never send payment links or request payment via eWallet, CashSend, or any similar method.
*B4 I Do reserves the right to amend, revise, or update its fees at any time without prior notice.
A client may cancel their instruction by providing written notice. Where consultation, drafting, or administrative work has already been performed, B4 I Do reserves the right to retain all or part of the fees paid in order to cover work completed and administrative costs incurred.
Where a client cancels the mandate or requests a refund, all drafts, documents, templates, and related materials prepared by B4 I Do remain the intellectual property of B4 I Do and K.M. Ragolane Attorneys & Notaries.
Clients may not reproduce, use, circulate, or attempt to register such documents independently or through another service provider.
Upon receipt of the registered antenuptial contract from the Deeds Office, our offices will notify the client to arrange collection of the document.
Courier delivery is not included in the Standard package.
Clients selecting the Standard package may collect the document personally or arrange courier delivery at their own cost.
For Premium, Deluxe and Platinum packages, courier delivery of the registered contract is included in the package fee where delivery is required.
B4 I Do takes the security of client payments seriously. Clients are advised that B4 I Do will never send payment links or request payment through third-party payment portals.
All payments must be made strictly in accordance with the banking details reflected in the initial pro forma invoice issued by B4 I Do.
B4 I Do will never request that clients change payment details, transfer funds to a different bank account, or redirect payment instructions after the initial invoice has been issued.
If a client receives any communication requesting payment to an account different from the one reflected in the original invoice, or requesting payment through a link or alternative payment method, such communication should be treated as suspicious.
Clients are encouraged to verify any payment instructions directly with B4 I Do using the official contact details published on this website before making any payment.
B4 I Do shall not be responsible for any loss suffered where a client makes payment to an incorrect account due to fraudulent communications that did not originate from our official channels.
Clients must provide requested documentation and instructions within reasonable timeframes.
Delays caused by incomplete documentation, late responses, or missed appointments may affect service timelines.
B4 I Do shall not be responsible for delays arising from the client’s failure to cooperate or provide required information.
Where parties intend to marry under customary law, the antenuptial contract must be executed before the customary marriage is regarded as having been concluded.
B4 I Do does not provide services in respect of matters where lobola negotiations have already been concluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, B4 I Do and K.M. Ragolane Attorneys & Notaries shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or consequence arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control.
This includes delays caused by the Deeds Office, government processes, third-party services, or reliance on incorrect information supplied by clients.
